RapidWeaver est une application de conception Web de nouvelle génération qui vous permet de créer facilement, en quelques minutes, des sites Web d'aspect professionnel. Aucune connaissance en programmation complexe n'est requise : RapidWeaver s'occupe de tout cela pour vous. RapidWeaver génère des sites Web valides basés sur le XHTML et les CSS.

L'un des avantages de RapidWeaver réside dans sa communauté très active de créateurs de thèmes personnalisés. Vous pouvez télécharger des thèmes et les modifier directement depuis RapidWeaver ; vous obtiendrez ainsi un site Web au design soigné, le tout avec un minimum d'effort.

RapidWeaver dispose également de nombreux plug-ins personnalisés. Certains facilitent l'édition d'images directement dans RapidWeaver. D'autres permettent de créer un plan du site en quelques clics. C’est véritablement la communauté solidaire qui entoure RapidWeaver qui rend cette excellente application supérieure aux autres outils de création de sites Web de type WYSIWYG. Nouveautés de la version 9.6.8

Mettez à jour PHP vers 8.4.15, ajoutez le support INTL.
Corrigez le nom de fichier qui ne s'affiche pas lors du téléchargement.
Corrigez les boutons du navigateur FTP qui ne fonctionnent pas dans Tahoe.
Améliorez l'apparence du bouton de test dans les signets.

I have version 8, which I am learning on, and it will do me for the next few years after which I probably will not care as I will have moved on. I WILL NOT upgrade, I do not rent software I WILL not allow MY work and MY data to be locked in and held hostage.

From the advertising it looks like RapidWeaver is a drag and drop WYSIWYG web page editor. Not at all. Then the purchase changed to subscription. That's a bit no as I do not subscribe to something that I would use only a couple of times a year. Recommend some other solution. Very disappointed with my purchase.

Frankly, I don't like renting software and I don't support companies who to change to subscription mode: When the "landlord" goes out of business, you can bid farewell to the software, too. Mind you, it is not a rare occurrence, software companies do have the nasty habit of folding up. There should always be the option to purchase a perpetual license, that will never expire.

DO NOT UPDATE to v8.10.0 ! ! ! It is a PAID UPGRADE, it is SUBSCRIPTIONWARE, and will FAIL with your v8 license. This is TRAGIC. - - RapidWeaver is suffering from Marketing-As-Management, the disease that kills aging companies. At this time: (1) 'Check for Updates...' either fails, or it only detects the previous version as the latest. It will NOT detect v8.10.0. That may be a blessing. (2) "RadidWeaver Classic", despite it being listed at v8.10.0, is a PAID UPGRADE, which of course is insane. Your v8 license will FAIL. DO NOT INSTALL v8.10.0. (3) To add to this insanity, when v8.10.0 is manually installed, the name of the app has CHANGED from "RapidWeaver 8" to simply "RapidWeaver". You will (thankfully) have TWO copies, TWO versions of the app sitting next to each other. TRASH v8.10.0 "RapidWeaver" and don't look back. - - CONCLUSION: Past v8.9.4, RapidWeaver is DEAD TO ME. I've knocked it down from 5-star to 1-star. Shameful. Sad.

And now Rapidweaver is going also the way of subscription… :-( Following version is about the same price - but for only one year, a five year license will be… hold on… 291 dollars! Bye bye Rapidweaver! I’ll stick to version 8 for now as long as I can.
